Blind Channel release “Into The Void” featuring Aaron Pauley

Blind Channel have shared “Into The Void,” a new track featuring Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men. The collaboration arrives as part of the Finnish modern-metal band’s sixth studio album, Painstream, released on October 30, 2026.

The song occupies the fourth slot on the album and runs for just under three minutes. Its compact format puts the focus on contrast: dense, contemporary production meets a hook-led structure, while Pauley’s appearance adds another vocal texture without turning the track into a detached guest showcase.

A collaboration inside the album’s larger idea

Painstream contains twelve tracks and follows a broad theme built around pain, growth and the uncertainty of modern life. The record’s title combines “pain” with “mainstream,” but the album’s framing reaches beyond wordplay. Blind Channel approach pain as a shared human condition, examining it from personal, social and existential angles while leaving space for resilience and hope.

Within that sequence, “Into The Void” looks outward. The song’s imagery turns toward the stars and the question of humanity’s future, giving the album a cosmic scale without abandoning its emotional core. The presence of Pauley, whose work with Of Mice & Men has helped shape modern heavy music’s balance of aggression and melody, fits that tension naturally.

Blind Channel’s sixth chapter

The new album presents Blind Channel as a five-piece working from a more unified creative position. Rather than chasing an outside definition of what the band should sound like, the group has described the writing process as a period of creative reassessment. That perspective is audible in the album’s combination of large-scale production, hard-edged riffs and direct choruses.

The track list moves between spiritual questions, personal confrontation and social observation. “Into The Void” adds a future-facing chapter to that arc. It is not a standalone detour: its concise arrangement and guest vocal support the wider record’s concern with vulnerability, conflict and the possibility of connection.
