THIS GIFT IS A CURSE, the Stockholm blackened sludge band, announce a run of European and UK dates supporting Dragged Into Sunlight in May 2027, alongside Mizmor. The tour opens in Vienna on May 5th and closes in Liverpool on May 23rd, covering nineteen shows across nine countries, from Austria and Poland through Scandinavia and Germany to the Netherlands and the UK.
Formed in 2008, the band build their sound from blackened sludge with hardcore roots, leaning increasingly toward post-metal and drone. Their live record has been built largely in Scandinavia, including a run supporting Cult of Luna in 2019 and a Stockholm support slot for Gaerea in April 2025, and the May dates will bring that heavy, slow-turning material to a much wider map of rooms.
