We are pleased to announce that Chronosfear‘s second album will be released in early 2022 on Elevate Records. !

The album is entitled “The Astral Gates Pt. 1 – A Secret Revealed”. It is the first part of a two chapters concept, based on a short story written by bassist Xavier Rota. The composition of the songs already began in 2018, before the release of the debut album “Chronosfear” (Underground Symphony Records, 2018). All the music and arrangements were entirely composed by the singer and songwriter Filippo Tezza, with the exception of one song composed in collaboration with the drummer Michele Olmi, and the introduction, composed by Giacomo Savina who has collaborated as orchestral co-arranger. The lyrics, based on the short story, were also written by Filippo Tezza. Compared to the debut album, the sound of the new one will be more sophisticated and the arrangements will be more complex, also with some modern and catchy keyboard sounds by the keyboarder Davide Baldelli, and great guitar solos by the new guitarist Frank Campese. The sound can be defined as power metal with progressive inserts, but with a greater symphonic and choral attitude. “The Astral Gates Pt. 1 – A Secret Revealed” and its concept, will be a record that surely every melodic power metal fan will enjoy
