In 2020 they planned to record their first full lenght album, but instead Oscar chosed to leave BLACK STEAM due to own music projects. Uffe Tillman (Crossing Eternaty) was recruited as new drummer and the band immediately started rehearsals and write new songs. At this time the Covid pandemic was peaking, resulting in making it harder to rehears on regular basis. But it wasn’t all. In the late summer of 2020 gutarist Jan Högström was diagnosed Arthritis in his hands meaning he couldn’t go on playing. The band now concentrated on making a final recording with Jan on guitar. The new single “Broken” is the result of this work.
