Paul Gonzalvez, former Right to the Void guitar player, is back with his new band AREIS to bring a dose of blasting/hard -hitting heavy metal once again! In 2020, AREIS signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the release of their self-titled debut album “Areis”(TBA). Areis (meaning “to raise” in ancient Occitan), is a band from Bagnols-sur-Cèze (France), in the Occitania region. Formed in 2019 by ex-members from Kombur and Right To The Void, the quartet takes inspiration in music genres such as hardcore, black metal, post-hardcore and punk which they’ve blended, using dark, occult and Occitanian-themed lyrics, into no nonsense, gloomy music.
